It's been a very busy week!!

I can't really spend time writing a post until after my report is finished...BUT..I will post a FB status that I did a while back that motivates me daily -- as it relates to my "struggle" with men.

"For all my "Mary Jane's" & "Olivia Pope's"...EVE'S CURSE...Genesis 3:16) -- I've read this verse plenty times...but I've never really paid attention to the last sentence until my convo with Lee Bee last night..."Your desire will be for your husband, and he will rule over you."..we spend so much time reading the part about why we're cursed with the pain of childbearing we negate the fact that the strong DESIRE FOR MARRIAGE and BEING IN CONTROL OF OUR MARITAL STATUSES & RELATIONSHIPS THAT WE WILL NEVER BE ABLE TO CONTROL was a curse in itself. Especially when we're living in these Mary Jane/Olivia Pope/Joan Clayton (yes I put my favorite show in, lollll) mindsets. God allows us control over all the other things -- our careers..wealth...possessions...and other accolades that define our "worth" but THIS...and we're, at some level; whether severe or not..STILL UNSATISFIED....not having this control isn't something new..it's been banned from since Eve.. *mind explosion* so what now? We just wait..."
